Description
This campground offers 19 campsites and a unique group yurt that sleeps up to 10. The yurt offers bunkbeds, tables and chairs and is accessible. Beneath a pine canopy with access to swimming and fishing, this quaint area is perfect for family reunions. There are flush toilets, but no showers.
Geography:
Willard Brook State Forest contains 2,597 acres and is located in the towns of Ashby and Townsend, 50 miles from Boston. Here you can find the character and feeling of forests usually found much farther west in the state, with a tumbling brook and quick water amid groves of classic New England woods.
Recreation:
A wide variety of activities are offered including swimming, walking, hiking, birding, fishing, horseback riding and winter trail sports.
Facilities:
This cozy campground offers 19 campsites spread beneath a pine canopy and a large yurt that is a unique group camping experience. Bathroom facilities include flush toilets, but no showers. The group yurt is a canvas sided, cabin-like structure that can accommodate up to 10 people. The yurt offers bunk beds, chairs and tables; and access to water and electricity. Linens and eating utensils are not provided.
Pets are not permitted in the yurts or on the yurt sites.
The yurt is wheelchair accessible and offers an accessible portable toilet on the site.
There are NO HOOKUPS or dumping station available at this campground.

- Reservations with departure dates outside the 4-month maximum window cannot be changed or canceled until 18 days after the reservation was made.
- If you choose to cancel or change your reservation, a $10 fee will be charged. The reservation transaction fee is non-refundable. Refunds of $5 or less cannot be processed.
- If you leave early, please checkout at the contact station.
- Cancellations made on the day of arrival must be made by calling the campground and will result in the loss of the first night's camping fee plus a $10 cancellation fee.
- If you are unable to arrive on your scheduled arrival date, you must call the campground and let them know. Failure to contact the park by 8 a.m. the morning following your scheduled arrival date may result in your campsite being reassigned to another camper and forfeiture of fees paid.

Take Rte. 495 to Littleton; take the Rte. 119 Exit. Follow Rte. 119 West approximately 21 miles through West Townsend to the campground on the left.
From the West:
Follow Rte. 2 East to Rte. 31 North in Fitchburg. Follow Rte. 31 North through Fitchburg to the Town of Ashby and the intersection with Rte. 119 East. Follow Rte. 119 East approximately 0.5 miles to the campground entrance on the right
From the East:
Rte. 2 West to Fitchburg and Rte. 13 North. Follow Rte. 13 North to Rte. 119 West in West Townsend. Turn left onto Rte. 119. Follow Rte. 119 approximately 4 miles to the park entrance on the left.
