This 5,000-acre forest includes 25 miles of trails for hiking, and horse-back riding. It's also home to a 227-acre Wompanoag reservation. The forest lies mostly in the center of the town of Freetown (about a third of the town) dividing Assonet, East Freetown, and Fall River's northern most boundary.
36'x20' Covered Pavillion with approximately 6 picnic tables and room for up to 40 guests. If additional space is needed, guests may bring up to 2 folding tables (no more than 2 please!); NOTE: Decorations are ok, only tape may be used to hang the decorations and everything must be cleaned up prior to departure. NO WATER BALLOONS OR CONFETTI ALLOWED. Pavillion rental does not guarantee access to wading pool, as this is determined by capacity or operating conditions. Playing field next to pavillion for all day use and pavillion rental guests to enjoy!
